Note the normal anatomic structure (left ventricle) that has been affected by the patients disease. Notice the mass effect and displacement caused by the hemorrhagic mass and its edema.Methods: Notice this is a not a contrast-enhanced head CT! This is a hemorrhagic metastasis from the patient's primary renal cell carcinoma. For hemorrhagic brain metastases, one should consider the following primary tumors: lung, renal, thyroid, chorio, and melenoma.
